What can I see at the theatre when I stay in London?

London doesn't lack when it comes to entertainment. London shows and musicals feature some of the best known actors and stars of the stage, both from Britain and abroad. If you are not seeing a show as part of an organized London trip, make sure you plan well in advance if you want to see one of London's live shows. Tickets sell out way in advance, especially for the most popular shows including Les Miserable, Phantom of the Opera, The Lion King, Joseph and his Technicolor Dream Coat, The Sound of Music and Hairspray .

Although it's always possible to get a good deal on tickets, you should certainly book ahead if there is a particular show you want to see. Many London trips include theater tickets so ask your travel provider before you book if London theater tickets are available for the show of your choice.
